ABOUT ME

How did you get into hair?

I got into hair when i was in highschool. I took cosmetology in grade 11 and 12 and I did hair and makeup a side hustle back then and since then, I've found a true passion and decided to pursue hairdressing.

What do you love about the hair industry?

Working as a hairdresser and a nursing student, I found that helping others in different ways is what motivates me to grow and improve not just as a stylist & a nurse but as an individual in general. Making people feel their most beautiful and confident than ever, is the most rewarding feeling. Making a difference in someone's life, truly makes my heart feel so full. I love that working in the hair industry does not feel like labor. It feels like we're just hangin out, spilling some tea, and give both my client and I the safe space for us to be vulnerable and just have fun.

What kind of hair are you known for?

I personally have a strong focus and passion on color correction/asian hair. I love a good challenge and a complete transformation.

What foods can't you live without?

YA FILIPINA GIRL CAN NOT LIVE LIFE WITHOUT RIIICE!

What is your personal style?

I don't think i have a personal style, I am the type who likes to mix & match and play around with different styles. Also depends on my mood (LOL)

How do you spend your downtime?

I usually like to go to the gym and i also love to cook and bake. Once in a blue moon, I like going out with friends to check out new restaurants or coffee shops.

What is your fav local business?

I just moved here a couple weeks ago and have yet to find a fave local business

Do you have any recommended reading or watching?

If you like motivational and self-help books, "The Mountain is You" by Brianna Wiest is a good read!

Any past/future travel plans?

I someday want to travel to Seoul, Korea and Japan and pig out on authentic Korean/Japanese food as well as see the beauty of their culture and country.

Fav quote or motto?

In order for things to become healthy and grow, you gotta cut the dead ends (and I'm not just talking about hair).

Fun fact?

I've never broken a bone or dislocated any part of my body before...
