ABOUT ME
How did you get into hair?
I’ve always loved to express myself though my hair and clothing, I didn’t really ever think of doing it for a career. I went to university for history and ended up needing a different life path and decided to pursue hair. I am so glad I did!
What do you love about the hair industry?
It's a very rewarding industry to be involved in. I love being able to connect with people, and empower them to feel their very best. Hair is an amazing medium to create with, I love collaborating with clients to give them their dream look!
What foods can't you live without?
Hamburgers! Any day and any time.
What songs/ artists do you have on repeat?
I’m still stuck in my high school music phase. As an emo kid through and through, I tend to listen to fast paced dance hits or punk pop ballads.
What is your personal style?
My style is opposite ends of the fashion spectrum, I go from 1940s/1950s vintage fashion to dark and edgy.
How do you spend your downtime?
Outside of the salon, I sew, bake and knit, basically a nice grandma.
What is your fav local business?
Sparrow Cafe, Its a super cute cafe with tasty treats and a great vibe.
Do you have any recommended reading or watching?
From here to eternity by Caitlyn Doughty, is definitely one of my favourites. I would love some recommendations! I tend to pick fantasy or very specific non- fiction
Any past/future travel plans?
I’ve been super lucky to travel in my life. I’ve seen a good chunk of Europe and Japan, as well as living in Germany for a few months. I’m hoping to get to see more of Asia and returning to the U.K.
